Catalog Design

BarkPark, a subsidiary of UltraSite, is a manufacturer for all things dogs. They design, produce, and manufacture outdoor equipment and accessories for dog parks of all sizes. The Widgets & Stone studio has been a long time partner of UltraSite, and their parent company, PlayCore, having produced a wide variety of print catalogs for their subsidiaries. In 2023, UltraSite came to us to design a major revamp for their latest DogPark catalog, with the goal in mind to bring forth a more playful approach to showcasing their line of products.

Emily Ricks Tyree and I collaborated together at Widgets to bring forth this year’s new visual look and feel to the catalog. We opted to leave the catalog as colorful as possible, and presented an approach to use organic shapes as containers for UltraSite’s imagery and copy, mimicking in the catalog’s tone, the innate and exuberant playfulness that is present in dogs of all shapes and sizes.
